I presume that a 124 would have the security style locks like my 201 which I've
never messed with but on a 123 you don't need to do any of that.
On a 123 car you take the door handle loose, then loosen the lock inside the
door, wiggle and fiddle for awhile and the door handle will come off, it n
124 key has recessed/variable ridges on both sides - different from 123 key
but like 126 key.

and disassembling it to the point where you can remove the lock cylinder?
Worst case scenario, you have it off the car so you can clamp the whole thing
in a vise to abuse it.

The photos won't load for me. If I were to get another SL C it would either
be an early or one of the very last ones (380). At some point the market
value of a mint condition SL C will have to skyrocket because they are so
