Here is the site of the system I am currently using to burn waste vegetable
oil. (WVO) I simple filter the oil using a small centrifuge. I do not
process it into bio diesel. What I am doing is very safe. This site

Loose sloppy steering in an XJ is from poor maintenance. The fact that
you compare something with low range in a transfercase to a volvo wagon
for offroad prowess suggests you reaelly don't know what you're talking
about, especially when you say that an XJ lacks suspension travel.

For all the cheapskates out there (you know who you are!) who don't
yet have that most essential of all Mercedes-specific tools, the
Mityvac: I was just at my local Harbor Freight (got a cooling system
pressure tester with European cap adapters for $64 after 20% off
coupon!) and noticed that
Progress! I took a look at the nearly-frozen AC idler bearing, and
removed it from the dogleg. I then cleaned it and carefully pried out
the (hardened) rubber seal, exposing the dry bearing. A shot of brake
cleaner loosened everything up, then I cleaned out the bearing and
blew it dry with
A bigger question is why does the USAF require rated (pilot) commissioned
officers to fly these things when the Army has shown these qualifications
are unnecessary. Answer: USAF is a flying club, owned and operated by
pilots. I base this on 25 years as a second-class member of that club.

Perhaps you don't realize how low of gears, and how much travel a
volvo wagon has. Some Volvo wagons came with a 4.3:1 rear axle and a
4.03:1 1st gear. They can also have 2-3 feet of suspension travel even
with the stock front sway bar in place, and mine has a factory locking
rear diff.

There's no harm in leaving the wear sensors off if you want to change
the pads before you get the other one from Rusty, Ed. I kind of
figure they are not worth the bother, since I look at the pads twice a
year anyway (at least) when swapping winter/summer wheels.

I read what Don recommended and I decided to do a search to see what is out
there. I found these three videos, I'm sure there must be more, but these
show 3 different ways to clean up foggy plastic lenses. They go from the
mildest to the harshest and I would imagine that one would chose
My vacuum locks held today once for over 90 minutes, then reverted to
their
crappy 25 minute or less holding performance. Will do some work on
this
Sunday.
I have had locks do this, and after full disassembly finding
nothing wrong in the area, whereupon after reassembly it all
worked fine.
In another session in the evening I scraped off the gasket surfaces
and installed the water pump. That took a long time, due to the
tenacity of the old gasket. I tried to be careful with the razor
blade not to damage the metal surfaces. Once done I transferred the
thermostat to the new pump,
