The blower motor on our 1997 LWB S320 suddenly stopped a few days ago. After all the codes were cleared and the fuse changed [it was bad] the blower still did not work and the 'check engine' light came back on [it had been on for awhile before this, and returned soon after being cleared]. I am

Here's the way I cleaned the fuel tank in my '83 300D: 1. I siphoned fuel out of tank using hand pump siphon from Walmart. The hand pump is very handy for getting the flow started. 2. Removed First Aid kit tray from behind back seat and removed fuel gauge sender using 1 7/8 socket from Sears

You will need an adapter to push the old one out, otherwise the HF kit works fine. Make sure you have a 7mm (yes, 7mm) allen key to hold the strut rod while unscrewing the nut. This is NOT in the normal assortments, although my cheap set has one for some reason. Do not use heat, you run the

Do not use heat, you run the risk of changing the shape or temper of the control arm, and neither distortion nor cracks around the ball joint are desirable. The HF tool will provide adequate pressure, although some vigorous tapping on the control arm to start it out is sometimes necessary.

I have never seen a 123 with this condition. on the SDL, the right track was clearly off one tooth. On this 124, I can't see anything wrong. When I tip the seat up so the tracks are perpendicular to the ground, the left side is about 1/2 further from the ground to the front mounting hole,

I think he was talking of the plastic disks that go between the wheel and the hub to keep the dust on the brake side. They do work but I don't like them because of the possibility of heat build up in the brakes during city driving. The disks tend to reduce the air flow around the brakes. The
