Price is much higher than I remember! Diagnostic procedure is 54-0254, and basically consists of checking the gauge reading when sender is disconnected (open circuit = 3 bar) and then shorting to ground (ground = zero bar). If the gauge fails this test, then problem could be in circuit or gauge.
