An injector slobbering will cause it to go over-lean -- white burned plugs on
all but the bad cylinder, which will be dark. Remember, all the computer
"sees" is oxygen in the exhaust. Too much fuel on one cylinder will reduce the
oxygen level average (the O2 sensor is pretty slow to respond)

That’s not going to happen. I’ll sort out the cause then seal the crack with
some exhaust sealer. It’s pretty small, less than a millimeter. There’s no
room whatsoever to work around it, so anything like welding would require
removing the exhaust pipe.
