Not a good idea IMHO. You could end up with a bunch of dust and dirt in the water. The air filters in the dehumidifiers are not 100%. They are built just like the filters in most window AC units, just a plastic mesh to keep the worst of the dust bunnies from clogging up the evaporator fins.
