I'm going to buy a used HP Z420 workstation and need help determining which
parameters will actually be significant for a faster PC. I will be mostly
doing photo editing in Lightroom, with some Solidworks drawing and video
editing.
So, the options are:
Xeons from 4 to 8 core, (E5-1607 v2 to
Right, there are so many w123 Mercedes still on the road so discontinuing
critical mechanical parts is just plain stupid. People who drive W123s are
usually not in the market for a new Mercedes so it’s not like Mercedes is
sacrificing new car sales by keeping the w123s on the road.

Yes you are right but I always expected more from Mercedes. Now they just seem
to behave like every other cheap car dealership.

I wonder what would happen were you to go to any other dealership and ask
for a radiator for a 35+ year old vehicle, even a 20 year old one?

I was going to say, why be that way when Behr still makes them?
But I see that Hella/Behr is selling aluminum and plastic, just like Nissens.
So maybe MBZ dropped them because they can't source an exact match any more.
Didn't Nissens used to be the radiator of choice?
Rock Auto sells them
To follow-up, the classic center says that Mercedes no longer makes radiators
for this car and that I should go to the aftermarket.
The dealership told me that I should take the car to a local Indy shop to have
it fixed since they can’t source the part. I wouldn’t take it to the dealership
That's what I would do if I had an old brass and copper radiator.
Not worth thinking about with an aluminum and plastic radiator (like the one I
replaced in my ML350)
30 years ago I'd know where to go.
I wonder if they're still in business?
Oh, wow, not only is the place still open and still

Interesting. Seems unlikely that the pads are in wrong, but never say
never. I changed all the calipers, so this isnt just a brake job.
I found this european cert thing in an email from autohaus (finally got the
500e master cyl today btw). Anyway it may interest the list:

After you do all that, I'd hit it with compressed air, see if anything

Just ordered it and will post a review once installed.

Hi folks,
Hope you are all doing well!
My eldest has fixed the freeze plug using a pair of cold chisels and a
bit of steel pipe on the 300SDL's 603, so now we need to button up the
engine. However:
1) the intake manifold has been off for a long time (5 years?) and

At $15 I think you should take the chance.
When these first came out, they were a lot more expensive.
I see the reviews indicate people are using them on 100 foot 12/3 cables.
I don't know how well that would work but they should not have a problem
with lighter cords like one might use to run a
I see Behr and OEM, but I don't see OE on eBay.

Well, it sold for $3900... I guess it had a lot of "issues".

The Northern Tools one is only $15 and is hand cranked, so not comparable.
My fear is that it might break quickly.

I did a quick search on ebay. Looks like they are still plentiful for and
cost around $200.

Out of curiosity, I called my local dealership to see if they can comment on
whether a radiator is available for a manual tranny car and they just flat out
told me that Mercedes does not make a radiator for my car anymore. I highly
doubt that’s the case and so I will call the Classic Center
