Re: [MBZ] Time for a good old oil discussion
Back when I was driving OM617 engines, the switch from dino oil to Mobil 1 made a HUGE difference in starting them in under 20F days - down to 0F once - at work without a plug for an engine heater. I don't know that Mobil ! was truly full synthetic, but the difference was remarkable. IIRC, it was 15W-50, or maybe 40. Re: [MBZ] Keep or send back to Copart?
There is no title, thus, you have no car, only parts. Here, we have a pretty fast track to clear title called a Mechanics Lien. The legal premise is, it came in for work, you invested time and money to fix it, the owner never paid you, you "Seized the car in lue of payment " and now want title. Normal processing is about 30 days once you file the paperwork with DMV Does your state have such a thing? If not... take it back and get a refund, or sue Copart for selling you a car without a title, which has to violate some law, somewhere... Triple damages sounds about right for fraud. [MBZ] Time for a good old oil discussion
Up till recently most of the diesel synthetic oils have been 5w40. 15W40 was always dino oil. Now days there are starting to be supposedly full synthetic 15w40 diesel oils out. Rotella now has T6 in 15w40 and I now see Delvac Extreme 15w40 at Walmart for under $20 per gallon. Anybody know anything about all this or have opinions? In a cold weather setting, we sometimes get down to 0 or even below in OK but most of the time maybe low teens first thing in the morning. In those conditions dino 15w40 might be thick but when talking about full synthetic, what sort of different would there be between 5w and 15w full synthetic. I am assuming a full synthetic 15w would flow better and faster in the cold than a dino 15w? And, would a 15w really be a full synthetic? From what I have researched the 15w40 might be more sheer stable and not burn off as quickly. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

That sounds great! My wife has the problem of frequently getting up to “piss,” and I usually get up a couple times as well. I’ll be going in for my sleep study sometime in the next month or so. I quit breathing 87 times per hour according to my doctor. Yes, I seem to sleep just fine with it. Seemed to have solved a lot of issues that I didn’t even think were related such as having to get up a couple of times a night to piss. No more of that. Talked to them the other day and I can now bring the car back to unwind the deal. I have about $900 in it after auction fees. Car has a new radiator and I think a new fan clutch also. Probably trying to fix an overheating problem. It’s about a 99% certainty it has a blown head gasket. Builds up pressure quickly and has a decent amount of pressure still in the system even after sitting for weeks. Also would not hold a vacuum with my radiator tester and filler tool. Temp gauge does not currently work so I did not run it for a long amount of time.
