Yeah I have a tracking number and signed up for updates. I think it only weighs
like 25lb so less than the dog food I get by fedex. But the postal service here
is awful. It’ll probably get stolen by these local delivery clowns or I’ll get
a “delivered” notice then it will be nowhere to be
USPS for that size item will come truck freight, LTL [less than truck load]
so it will be consolidated with other shipments and items going sort in the
same direction, loaded, unloaded, reloaded, and sent out again for the next
leg of the shipment to somewhere sort of in your direction Expect
25 yr old car with 100K on the clock "Only" $20,000
Is the trunk full of crack, or the owner?
Price seems wishful.

I get a message that this welder has shipped this morning from AUBURNDALE, FL
from an Amazon facility via the USPS. I guess that means I’ll see it in 3
months or so if it ever actually gets here. But on a positive note, shipping
was free!

Too bad it's not a rear bumper. Those are easy to come by in the aftermarket.
Don't know about the fronts.
The plastic on these seems to be really brittle and just a tap will cause them
to shatter. At least that's been my experience with the rear bumpers.

Not as bad as some others. Could be an easy project.

Now that I have this 07 ML and can compare it side by side to the 08 GL,
the ML really is quite a bit smaller than the GL. I always thought it
was just a shorter GL, but its smaller all the way around in general.
It is more like a E class SUV and the GL is a big S class SUV.
Same here. Wish I had a few more of them. Those really were the good ol’ days.

I started out rebuilding and repairing Miller 400A "buzz boxes" (as we called
them) for pipeline and tank builders for one of my Dad's customers right out of
high school. With the right stick you could butt weld 1/4" plate and thicker
with one of those things. Worked on Lincoln Pipeliners, too,
The Lincoln Electric stick machine I am using at the college is a big nice
machine, inverter with knobs for amps and other settings and some push buttons
for stuff and digital numbers. I don’t recall the model

Same sort of thing with a bike that was abandoned in my driveway. Tried to CL
and Freecycle the thing for weeks. Kept it in the parking strip and nobody
would molest it. Put a $5 sign on it one morning and it was gone before I
could finish my cup of coffee.

Looking good!
IIRC, 20 ga. is 0.035" - which is the tubing thicken I use the most when
welding up fuselages.

The one in question here [Yes] is inverter-based. So, not just iron and wire,
but rather electronics. My cheap dropped Hobart is the heavy stuff. Not much
at all to go wrong.
