My 04E500 wheel had a small ding on the inner flange and a crack. I looked into
some repair companies and they wanted over $100 to fix it. And these wheels are
like $30 at the knacker if you can find one.
I checked my local welding shop and they wouldn’t touch it because they had
been sued
There are shops that claim they can straigten a bent alloy wheel. I would
believe that the average tire shop would not have the equipment to be able to
do it.

Wheel straightening services will do aluminum.
Most of them charge three digits and up from what I understand.
I bought a 16" W210 wheel on eBay for something like $60 when I found
out one of the wheels on my just purchased (ten years ago) wagon was
cracked. Not seeing that kind of price

I drove my 04E500 today. Entertaining car for a sedan. A strut is not that much
and an easy job. The headlight makes me wonder what else is wrong with it

Works great! I chose it mainly because I wanted to be able to have on-demand
lighting whenever someone comes out of the house or garage at night.
Yeah ideally you'd want a wide-angle motion sensor and then a camera that could
automatically track and zoom on the moving object. Those are probably expensive
though.
