[MBZ] 300D radiator fan shroud on 240D W123

The sh***d has hit the fan on on the 1982 240D the other day, so I’m in need of a shroud. I sourced one from a W123 300D and plan to buy it if it will fit my car. I was surprised that the fan could hit the shroud. I know that the engine mounts are in need of replacement. Could this cause the fan
