Hi Max, Nope, the mast raises and lowers with the on/off button of the radio. The radio comes on with the ign switch unless the on/off switch is used. No option to limit the travel/height that I know of - the switch on the dash to raise/lower the mast is not in my dash. Thx - LarryT 91
