Hi Max, Nope, the mast raises and lowers with the on/off button of the radio. The radio comes on with the ign switch unless the on/off switch is used. No option to limit the travel/height that I know of - the switch on the dash to raise/lower the mast is not in my dash. Thx - LarryT 91

Hi Jim - When I had a different problem once before (turned out to be the relay) I tested each wire going to the GPs and used a DMM to test each lead to the GPs - but the engine was not running. That time the Relay had died after a week. MB gave me a new one. I'll find that procedure short
