That's always a concern, so I "flush" with a dry gas after installing a new
drier, then vacuum for minimum of thirty minutes. Can't do much more than that.
Also was reading last night the modern PAG oil has "double capped" molecule now
and so is not as hydroscopic.

Craig, I'm thinking that the mineral oil didn't travel too far, as the r134
won't carry it. Lines from compressor to condenser and to the drier will be
flushed too, they are easy.
I may add some ester oil to "bridge" the two oils, so they play well together.

The oil feed is internal. I think one simply takes off the front cap, rotates
it 180 degrees, and install with fresh seals. That will allow oil to flow to

AC is nice. My 1995 E300 fogs up the windows terribly when it rains if the AC
is not working. The White Whale doesn't suffer from that, dunno why.

Windshield was already toast, a big rock strike left a divot that will surely
start cracking with enough heat cycles. That will be a task for later

Did you search on the Akebono website? I remember that getting the pads for a
124 for the front were easy, but finding the rear pads was tough.
Consider other (less expensive) pads on Rock Auto.
