As long as we are talking 1981 300SD's climate control, what is the remedy for
cold air at the defrost and warm air below? I have checked all pods and they
are in working order. It acts is if cold air from outside is mixing with the
defrost air.

My 1984 300D auto tranny feels like it is in gear when it is in park. When I
press the accelerator the car surges forward like it wants to take off. It is
in park of course and cannot take off. Is this normal or is something out of
adjustment. Is this hurting the transmission.
