USPS here is perfect, I couldn't ask for better. I should ask our postman his
name, I usually refer to him as "The one eyed kid", you can probably guess why.
If there are packages he comes around in the morning with a truck. He walks the
route in the afternoon with the envelopes.

I had one put a box in my car once. Said they'd "Delivered to the front door" I
called UPS "He hasn't."
The lady says "Oh yes, you just go look at your front door and you'll find the
package."
"Lady, there's four feet of snow covering the path to my front door, you
couldn't open that door with
My first guess would be a bad sensor. I had that happen on my Dodge Dakota some
years ago. Scared the crap out of me on the highway at 75mph...
Do you have a VCDS cable? The software would tell you the actual readout of the
pressure.
What oil? How long since the last change? How hot was
I usually check the oil in all the vehicles every Sunday. Check all the fluids
and tire pressure too. Might as well empty the trash while I'm at it.
It's a good excuse to eyeball the car, I've caught a bunch of things that could
have become issues while doing it.

Interesting. My 2010 Dodge RAM takes basically no oil between 8,000-10,000 mile
changes, it uses 5w20 or occasionally when I forget, 0w20.
Angie's 2005 VW Golf TDI consumes 5w30 oil but not 5w40. Makes an easy choice
on which weight to use. My 2015 Jetta TDI requires 5w30 and consumes none
A well done cabin, so many of them just use parts store gauges and the steering
column/shifter out of their donor car. Whoever built that has a good eye.

The NAPA by our place in Maine has a bunch of mangy looking dudes and one young
(like mid-20s) woman. She is CLEARLY the brains of the operation and somehow
manages to keep an eye on all the mangy dudes while still helping twice as many
customers as the dudes do. Several times I've seen her
Chain autoparts stores are the final haven for people to stupid to work at the
grocery store.
I consider Advance to have the absolute dumbest clerks. Autozone is a minor
step up but the one nearest me has pretty well hit bottom.
I'll never forgive Advance for buying Car Quest. My local Car
The last time I bought bioD at a station it was like $0.10 more expensive than
dino diesel.
Today I saw dino diesel as low as $4.79 and as high as $5.49. In theory BioD
could be much cheaper but if you had a similar product you probably wouldn't
price it way under the competition because you'd
What everybody else said.
I've done close to 100% travel for 3 months at a go.
I remember one year I realized "Oh crap, Christmas is next week, I better buy
presents. I hadn't been home since Thanksgiving.
It was dammed hard on my marriage, at first being away and then being back...

May has had several series I liked, the Toy ones are pretty neat.
He's had 2 series on Amazon, "Oh Cook!" and "Our Man in Japan" that were pretty
fun too.
Another show I like on the British front is "The Hairy Bikers" which is
basically 50% cooking show and 50% travel show. They've done a ton
