Re: [MBZ] More 140 adventures.
Nope grandma did. Not my problem. I made it perfectly clear I was done with cars involving the kid and am out of the loop on this deal. Personally I think it was stupid to go out and spend $13k on a car for a 19 year old who tears cars up but whatever. Ability to drive vs Ability to be responsible Hard concept to get across sometimes. Seems the problems will continue until he makes the transition from a boy to being a man who takes responsibility for what he does.. My apology for being completely off base by offering observations on this kind of subject. But, a good dose of size 10 steel toe boot to the rear might refocus his mind to manly actions. Well from the wife trying to defend him I already got the It's and old car what difference does it make line. I am waiting to be told it was my fault for parking behind him. Like I told her, he tore up a car he was not paying for. Now he will tear up this new car but have a huge payment for 5 years or whatever it is. [MBZ] More 140 adventures.
So after working for several hours getting the 140 ready to go again, after working on it I parked it in the driveway behind the kid who blew up his w210 2012 Jeep he now has a bit payment on. The wife and I were heading to town in it to make sure it did not catch on fire again and I pulled into the gas station. As I am washing the windshield with the squeegee, I head the aux fan kick in and it's sounding bad. I look around to the front to see it has been backed into and the grille/hood is pushed in at the bottom. He apparently backed into it because he did not see it there. He did not think it did any damage and went about his business he says. So it's pushed in and I assume the hood is buckled a little bit or something as the passenger side will not release now and I can't get the hood open. This is just great. This kid does not need to be behind the wheel of anything other than maybe a bicycle.
