Can you still zip a zip file? In my case, I could not send the executable as a zipped file (.zip) but I could send it as a gzipped file (.gz). It all depends on the filtering/scanning system the email system uses. When I was running an email system for a large State agency, I could block .exe files that were gzipped or renamed with another extension. I could also issue exemptions for individual email accounts or source domains. We were using Sybari back then . . .
