Anyone have a suggestion for a good source for a burl shift knob?
I would like to get one of these for the 140, but am a bit shocked by the
prices. If I could find the rough stock I would make one myself, but I don't
see that happening unless I go digging around for some turning stock that
hate a
damned thief, vandal, litterbug, etc.!
BTW, make your own if possible.

Sorry for your loss.
I am going to hit up some of my woodworking sources and see what they have in

custom in some way

hands.)
I found a nice burled walnut turning blank that is big enough to make two shift
knobs for $12. I bought it and will see about making
Maybe he just wants a burled one. ;)

I could do that on my CNC machine, but probably not on a shifter knob.
