The Kienzle (sp?) clock is electric, not electronic. Nothing uses electrons in it but a solenoid and a switch. The rest is all mechanical, and, unlike the later electronic clocks in the same form factor, they're easy to open. -- Jim ___

I have a few of the marginal capacitor clocks. I guess I should find a source for fresh ones and replace them. I rebuilt the cluster with working speedo and oil gauge to go along with the clock. Did a dot of paint on the screws, still there. The multimeter found continuity where it needed.
