I can't justify the space and expense of a "standard" o-scope, but there are times when one might answer a question. Being made of unobtainium makes them less desirable also. Dan Penoff via Mercedes November 12, 2018 at 7:37 AM They’re around here, too. The

I bought a Tek 475 (200 MHz) at Goodwill for $40. I I have been given a Tek 2336 (100 MHz), Tek 561A (10 MHz, tubes), Tek 7623A (100 MHz, storage), and Tek 7633 (100 MHz, storage). They're out there. That older 561A is a work of art inside. Either of the first two would be an excellent choice

They’re around here, too. The big Tektronics tube ones on the angled carts. I see them pretty regularly. Great when you need one, a massive PITA to keep and store. I can’t justify having one around, it would take up critical space. -D > On Nov 12, 2018, at 8:33 AM, Buggered Benzmail via

Still probably beats paying hundreds of an old Tektronics scope that is made of unobtanium. It just won't work for UHF/VHF ranges. There has to be a way to build an adaptacator to feed UHF/VHF to it in a way it can understand. The expensive scopes all have ranges. OK Don via Mercedes

IIRC, 45 to 200 mHz for channels 2-13. That's a 1000 times higher than this scope will measure. On Sun, Nov 11, 2018 at 10:20 PM Curley McLain via Mercedes < mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > what frequency would a tv antenna signal be? > > I know you can pick up the signal with a MM set to AC,
