According to the MB manual, the linkage for the right side is accessed
through the glovebox. So that doesn't sound too heinous. Either
the link has fallen off the lever arm, or the pivot has stripped
out, or something has _really_ broken.

The machine is a lease from Safety-Kleen they come and change it  
when needed it costs plenty. They have a bag with water at the bottom  
and solvent floating above. The drain in the tub lifts up and it just  
so happens a roll os Scott Toilet Tissue fits into the screened area.  
The sales guys don't tell you about it I figgered out all by myself.
