Would this have had the self-destructing wiring harness?

This is a FSBO posting but I suspect it might be a dealer because no
plates, CARFAX update is very recent, plastic carpet protectors, and
yellow dealer inventory key tag.

Hey everyone,
Thinking of going to look at a '92 S Class with 305.000 kms on it. Any
issues or things to watch for? Think this was just before the wiring
problems? Any tips or hints appreciated. Thanks.

The wiring harness issue started in 92 with the W140. So did the
evaporator issue.

Ah from wikipedia
The 1996 model W210 E-Class carried over the 4-speed automatic
transmission from the previous W124 generation E-Class. In 1997,
Mercedes installed in the E-class its newer, electronically-
controlled model 722.6 5-speed automatic transmission that first saw
duty in 1996

All 140 300's with the 104 had the 5 speed, not to be confused with the
later electronic sealed 5 speed.

I can't comment on the gas versions, but my experience has been that
