I might have the brackets for the trunk... I'll let you know. You'll also
need the GPS splitter, I can find the part number. If you want a trunk
liner that looks nice, you'll have to order one of them too. A parts guy

comparing it to a modern Garmin. The Garmin will have more features and

Along the same lines, what do you have to so to add GPS to a 2001 ml? Mine
already has the head unit with the nav button, but it needs a reader and the
map disks I guess. It also seems like you have to pull the unit out and install
the cd reader in the dash unit?

IIRC, you can push a button on the dash unit and the screen swings down,
exposing the CD reader for the nav unit (or was that a cassette deck behind
the screen?)

Thats an Alpine system... I think there might be a Navi module you can put
into it from the back. I'm not very familiar with them. Check eBay.
