I have a W115 quartz clock that's just collecting dust on the shelf. It's yours if you want another one to play with. > > It is quartz You have to un-crimp the chromed front bezel to get the clock apart. Not Fun, not if you want to do it cleanly enough to get it back together again afterwards. The clock is not a ticker, like all modern quartz clocks. It uses an oscillator to drive an old-fashioned synchronous wall–clock (plug-in) mechanism. More mechanical motion and wear, and more energy used. The one in my 220D was less accurate as time went on. I needed to synch it by 10 minutes each week. The capacitors can bee swapped out, which may handle the timing issue. Yes and yes. I've never seen/done a 115 but I repaired the clock in my '83 240D back in 2003 when I first got it.
