Have you seen "The Power House" on the old Navy base? We should buy it from
North Charleston and turn it into a dance club. I'll send a picture later.

Just my point. Some of he switchgear and instrumentation looks more modern
than the early 1900s. I suspect it was updated at some point in the past.
Those are not 90 degree gauges from the early 1900s. Gauges of that vintage
would have their pivot points at the bottom and be round.

It is cool. I especially like the architecture of the building.
Interestingly, looking at the distribution gear, parts of it appear to be more
modern than 1912. The protective relaying that’s in the switchgear looks more
like 1930s vintage stuff. (Protective relaying is the little glass door
And I think there’s a typo in there, too. I believe the Swiss company they are
referring to is “Sulzer”, not “Sulker”.

I really like the building too. Something about old industrial
buildings with proper architecture... I still remember a building along
the NYThruway near Albany somewhere (maybe, I forget exactly where) that
was a pump building or something, white block or concrete or stone or
something,

532hp from 3.7L? That's the sort of HP/liter the Crazy Finns get in OM60x
powered road cars. Seems low for a modern direct injection prototype racer.
