Every day, I receive a number of "Robo Calls" on the phones, all of which
are unlisted, and all which are filed with "do not call" list.
In response to the calls, I started answering them using the following
script:

I read somewhere that the scammers somehow have political pull preventing
their being stopped. I'm not sure how though. I'm not sure if thats a
conspiracy theory kind of idea or not...

I actually had one of the guys over on Saturday to take some wheels I gave
away on the group. He seemed pretty normal, actually drive a daily car
that was nearly new and unmodified. And he was looking to undo
modifications on his W123 done by the previous owner.
Maybe there is a bit of hope.
