I love that the official 'tool' is just the center part of the timer mechanism.

Nice! I'll bet that broken bolt comes out easy. I'd try cutting a slot with a
Dremel tool, then try removing with a regular screw driver.
If you can get the seals (I was able to about ten years ago) I'd do the side
and bottom plate now.

Took me about 10-15 minutes but the IP is out. Not a bad job with the manifold
and everything off. I have removed and replaced plenty of 60x IPs before and
never used the basket, so I did not use it this time either. I did stuff rags
under it so the timer does not move. Anyway, with the IP out
