Well, Mike,
The windshield is so pitted and has many very small chips in it that it
makes it nearly impossible to drive in the rain.

The headgasket was replaced @ 175K, measurements showed no bent connecting
rods or out of round cylinders, so there's no reason to invest in
connecting rods.OK? Car does go thru some oil, though, about 1-3
quarts between 3K oil changes.
