Re: [MBZ] Mercedes pickup
The load of manure I hauled a few years ago would not have been welcome in a T. The old Chevy drew that duty. The _two_ ECO-blocks I brought home in the Dodge would have strained a T's capabilities, to say the least. A truck is often well worth having. If you need to haul people, get a sedan. If you need to haul stuff, get a truck, if you need to haul both, get one of each. However, when we're hauling a 3000# camper, the extended-cab full-bed truck is just the ticket. It also generally gets better mileage than anything else we drive. (Campered it gets in the 12-15 range, up to 26 unloaded on the freeway.) The only thing it's bad at is knocking around town. It's big. Hard to park. I would never choose it as an only vehicle, but it's a great second vehicle. That MB pickup is just too weirdly styled for my taste. The bed also looks rather small. I think what I might really like is an El-camino'd 107 SL. Re: [MBZ] Mercedes pickup
I just hauled 2000 lb. of river rock for my wife earlier this week - hard to do even with most utility trailers. I have never figured out the crewcab pickups for anyone other than a construction manager. If you need to haul people, get a sedan. If you need to haul stuff, get a truck, if you need to haul both, get one of each. 'Think mine was an F150; it felt BIG, but not as big as others there. It was way too big for what I needed - don't think I ever hauled anything in the bed other than some sand bags and snow. The crew cab served very well many times, especially for showing military and government (American, British, Danish, Swedish, Canadian) officials around and into the boonies/tundra. Yes it does. I presently own one as part of the Ford Diesel truck set of 5. Owned two previously. Loved them. The last one I bought is the Lariat model which has every luxury option known to man, including electrically adjustable brake peddle so that along with the 6 way power leather seats you can fit the truck to yourself perfectly... It is however missing the auto nose pick and auto butt scratch option. :)) On Fri, Mar 27, 2015 at 11:16 AM, WILTON wilt...@nc.rr.com wrote: BTW, does Ford still make a crew cap pickup with an 8-foot cargo bed? Re: [MBZ] Mercedes pickup
I worked with a guy once who had these bad habits of picking his nose in meetings, scratching his huevos all the time, rearranging himself in front of the ladies, wasn't a hand-washer. Pretty much a pig. He was a Sr vp and had this black Porsche turbo he really liked. We all said it was fully equipped with ABS, automatic ball scratcher. --R (sent from my miniPad) On Mar 27, 2015, at 5:01 PM, G Mann g2ma...@gmail.com wrote: Yes it does.
