I went out to start my $500 Buick Lesabre this morning and it wouldn't start.
It would click once, but not start. I think it's the starter. It could also
be the battery cable. These cars have a problem with a spacer in the cable
that corrodes. I was dressed in my suit because I had to meet
I think I would load test the battery before I bought a new starter.

gets loose, no starty.

I thought about that also, but it is not clicking fast like a low battery, it
is just one click. But, I won't condemn the starter until I have exhausted the
tests on the cheaper items.

Loads of times I've had a battery with enough power to trip the solenoid
