Thanks, Dan! I am happy about it.

I am going to sell my current 7 series. I have a feeling it might take a
while. Not that many folks are interested in a 15 year old BMW with 217,000
miles.

As far as pictures, sure I can send some. They are the pictures from the
seller's listing. I'm hoping when it gets here that I will have a weekend to
do some Martha Stewart detailing.

Congrats, Donald, glad you found something you like. Sounds like a nice
example. So what are you doing with your existing 740?

As I opined earlier today, I think part of my problem is my past luck in
finding nice, well kept examples cheap. As I expand my search I'm finding that
the decent ones are north of $5,000, more than I had been previously
considering. Looks like it's time to open the wallet and accept that the ones
I have were anomalies due to luck or circumstance.

There are two what appear to be nice prospects I'll be looking at this weekend.
Maybe I'll get lucky as well. If not, I'm sure the right car will eventually
come my way.

Pictures?

Why a BMW? Mechanics say they break, unlike MErcedes.

I would have bought a 140 (97-99). But, like Dan they are very hard to find.
When I did find one they were either turds or they wanted WAY too much for
them. Plus, I have really enjoyed my current 7 series. I think the 98-2001
Bmw is the best one they made. They fit me well and look good.
