If engines are still similar to the V6 in my '04 Frontier, the oil capacity is
only a bit over 3 quarts. Not a lot iof safety buffer if you get low.

No, after I changed solenoids and fluid it was sorta OK but still inop.
She ended up getting a bit for it from a shop she took it to, and bought
a Honda Fit

coolant then noticed it was spraying out from under the NM. I caught up
to the car (it was going 50 in a 35) and honked several times and was
waving to pull over. Did not do that, was still spewing some coolant at
that point.
