Anyone read the book Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand?

I am just about through it.
About Louis Zamperini - an American who crashed into the Pacific and 
survived 46 days in a life raft and then about 2 years as a Japanese 
POW.


I think there is a movie now too but have not seen it.

A pretty good read.

Sounds good.


This one is one you can't put down until you finish.  Parts of it are 
ludicrous, some parts hilarious.  Some good insights into the 
character of Patton too.

Supposed to be a great movie, which of course means it won't do well  
at the box office but will be around a long time.  NPR interviewed the  
director a couple months ago, and the guy it's based on got to see a  
preliminary cut, he died before it was finalized.


I plan to see it one way or another.
