Re: [MBZ] OT Unbroken
Anyone read the book Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand? I am just about through it. About Louis Zamperini - an American who crashed into the Pacific and survived 46 days in a life raft and then about 2 years as a Japanese POW. I think there is a movie now too but have not seen it. A pretty good read. RB Sounds good. This one is one you can't put down until you finish. Parts of it are ludicrous, some parts hilarious. Some good insights into the character of Patton too. http://www.amazon.com/Pattons-Lucky-Scout-Adventures-Observer/dp/1933987103/ ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com All posts are the result of individual contributors and as such, those individuals are responsible for the content of the post. Supposed to be a great movie, which of course means it won't do well at the box office but will be around a long time. NPR interviewed the director a couple months ago, and the guy it's based on got to see a preliminary cut, he died before it was finalized. I plan to see it one way or another.
