There is this stuff too.

I think this would be for new cars, or cars that have no undercoating, and are
rust free. I have done a few searches and they have a dizzying array of rust
prevention products. Some are available on Amazon.

I've been super happy using it for door hinges. It creeps into the hinge and
then stays put. Our Dodge pickup resisted all other oils and grease and always
squeaked until I put the FF to it, now its doors are silent.Proper Fluid Film
does smell slightly of sheep for a couple days. The WoolWax
I think FF would be good for floors and some areas under the car. But not
for the engine overall.

I recently bought a WoolWax undercoating kit. Its similar stuff without the
smell of sheep. I really like it for wiping down guns, gives a nice protective
coating.
Haven't had time to get it onto the car yet, hope to do so before it gets
cold...

Jaime,
What about using Fluid Film? It’s not so much a rust preventative as a
protection agent, I guess, but it’s used heavily in the upper Midwest and New
England.
I hose down the interior of my car’s doors and other areas with it. I’m pretty
sure you can use it on the outside as well.
Hi Craig,
Thank to you and your brother for the feedback. Doesn't sound like
something that can be casually sprayed on.
At the moment I use etec 501:

You spray it on just about anything and I do, especially on parts just
plated or
I need that for my next boat trailer.

Jaime,
I'm sorry for the delay in responding.
I asked my brother, who has been involved with the Bonneville Salt Flats
racing for many
I just picked up a gallon of "WoolWax" which is apparently similar to (and
supposedly superior to) Fluid Film. The plan is to shoot both cars with the
WoolWax. That should use the whole gallon so the pickup will probably get bar
and chain oil.I'd like to keep cars longer and have fewer rust

My truck and my wife's car get sprayed every fall. No rust issues so
far. The truck is 2013
Anyone have any experience with this product?
