Broken ez out is not good. I have had success with them doing marine
work, but you have to drill perfectly. On a stud you should drill dead
center, all the way through. start small and work up. make the last
bit or two a left hander. don't even try drilling again until you get
the ez out out. Oh on

Yep, it comes right out. No major trauma was right. I didn't even skin
a knuckle. and that is unusual for me. I'm glad I didn't throw out
that spare when I was cleaning out the garage a couple of months back.
She is back to purring like a kitten, well a big 4000lb german diesel
kitten.

I did that just recently on a about 84 300D in a junk yard. It took
about 2 hours. I took off the exhaust and intake to get the turbo off.
Didn't have to take anything else big off. Still it wasn't too much fun.
