With some of the smart thermostats you can get remote sensors to deal with
imbalances like this. However, without dampers in the system to direct the
heat, I can’t see it making a significant difference.

Most useful for a house you'd keep open in the winter I suppose. Right now I'm
sure the house on the massive northern estate is the same temperature as
ambient, maybe even colder since it'll take a couple hours to warm up to
daytime temp.
There's no water (well hopefully anyway) in the house
