Probably a corroded connection. Start by unplugging the connector at the
driver's side of the cylinder head, and watch the gauge. There are two
senders
in the 2-3 cylinder area of the head i believe. Push the connector on and
off a few times and see if the

I had a temp problem on my 500E.. Do you have a laser
Thermometer...?? I merely had a problem with the connection at the
gauge. It was loose. Tightened! No more temp problem

Check the coolant lines and engine with a laser thermometer... Even
cheap ones work pretty
