Try the Salvation Army store, Goodwill store, Sherriffs store (if there is
one in Jax), or similar places.
Those stores around here sell them for as little as $15. You can buy the
whole oven for the turntable and you'll also have sheet metal for welding.

The metal around the rear jack points on my 190D looked terrible. So grinder in
hand I explored what was what. In fact what I thought was metal hanging out
from the body was actually rubber undercoating, the metal was mostly gone for
about 1 all around the jack point. The

rusted. I noticed that on the 300D there was some rust down the rocker, too.
Not enough to cause trouble yet, but worth checking on both my current W124s.
I like these cars, I want to keep them a while yet.!

Hey Jim - While you are cutting up old microwaves I am wondering if you
might have access to a 13.5 glass turntable with the three smaller tabs on
the bottom. I broke mine and Maytag wants $63 to replace it.

Nope, sorry. I only ever cut up two. One that died
