(oxfords - shoes that you tie with closed laces.)

I tried starting my car this morning but my glow plug light did not come on.

As you found, the strip fuses deteriorate over time and simply split in many
cases. They heat up and cool as they’re used, and this thermal cycling causes
them to eventually crack or split. A lot of times it’s not easy to see, so I
always recommend that you remove the fuse from the
