Let me second this. I switched tubing when Wilton shared this a couple of
years ago. You keep all the benefits of suction removal, and it takes only 2
minutes to evacuate all the oil when its hot. I can't imagine anything
easier.

Oh, and watch timing chain like a hawk on these babys. For all that, a 107

I would seriously consider this sucker if it were to be produced at
something approaching a reasonable price.

Is this a Sprinter engine? Seems like a good price if so... I just wish I
had the funds to make one work in my 126... I have dreams of increased
horsepower and mileage.

Yeah, he does. more than 11,000 negatives this year. BUT I will say that at
least in the few negs I looked at, he 1. didn't even claim that the items
worked (specifically mentioned that they might be DOA and that he didn't
check them) and 2. didn't leave retaliatory negs.

It's a W108. Beautiful cars, the "last of the handbuilt Mercedes" or so its
fans claim. Check the 108 list, and here's a website to get you
started.<http://www.geocities.com/mbz109/>
Be warned, its one of the Geocities (popup) sites.

I'm not so sure. This thing is mis-listed under the "instrument clusters"
section and may cut down on the views. I tried to post this auction this
morning, but it didn't go thru. It's had about a hundred views today.

This is exactly what happensed to me. The wire was exposed upstream of the
antenna motor, and would occasionally ground out. This was in the trunk
along the drivers side. Fortunately turned out to be an easy diagnosis and
fix.

What really sounds like you need is a new retractor/tensioner. I know I
need to replace all of mine. The front belts just dangle uselessly like a
wet noodle when released.

someone quotes a whole thread, then adds "me too," all you see is their

I remember the guy. I used to subscribe to the 108 list even though I never
have owned one because I wanted to buy the know my stuff in case the right

do 150 mph. I'm pretty sure his name was Shane.

This certainly isn't an option for most, but if you have access to a
military auto hobby shop, they invariably have a tire machine. Once I
learned how to use it, took about a half hour for all four. I started doing
it because my metal valves got thrown out one time too many.

Everyone who owns one of those 123 TDs needs to print out that auction
and save it for proof of value in case they need to prove value to the
insurance company. That's got to be the high water mark.
