accidents that are most likely to happen around here (collision with another
car, and hitting a deer) and put them into separate coverage types,
Hm. I thougt running into anything was collision. But I could be wrong. I have
hit a deer but it was so long ago I don't recall which coverage applied.

Vehicle contact, or possible vehicle contact (like returning to your
parked car to find a dent in it) is collision.
I think I would go back to the dealer and get it up on a hoist so you
can see if there is anything else that got whacked. Wouldn't think it
should be too expensive to have them button it up. Bad luck but
hopefully minimal damage.
