No, all the documentation went with the car when I sold it.

Eight, one for each runner.

Get manifold gaskets too, it has to come off for the job.

The seals are the round things maybe 2" in dia? How many of those does
it need?

Thanks Peter.

Boot between throttle body and lower intake, seals between upper and
lower intake, injector seals.

Minor leaks result in major running issues, less so with K-jet than
D-jet. D-Jet goes way rich with intake manifold leaks.

I found a lot of the part numbers on importec website without pictures.
The next step is trying to identify which are actually on the engine.
All the topside rubber is hard as a rock. On the other engine, many of
the parts were replaced about 3 yrs ago, and should be ok.

As I go through number by number I can find pictures from websites.

Did you keep any records of the part numbers (invoices) or notes from
when you did this exercise?

I need Dan or Jim to come take pictures and do a writeup while I do the
work.

I did all that with the M117 in the SLC many years ago - lots of hard
rubber parts to replace with the two part induction system. It made the
difference between running and not running.

I did all that with the M117 in the SLC many years ago - lots of hard
rubber parts to replace with the two part induction system. It made the
difference between running and not running.

My experience with a M116 consists of rolling in a new chain, replacing
some chain guides and a new chain tensioner, changing belts and the
little rubber elbows where the idle air solenoid plus in.

I have seen a guy pull up the distributor with all injectors and spray
fuel while the engine is cranked. I have not figured out how to do that
yet.

I think i heard that there is an upper and lower intake manifold and
some rubber things need to be replaced in between. Anyone BTDT?

What parts are needed to replace all the rubber parts above, below
around and in the intake manifold(s)/heads

I found 116 part numbers for 3 of the bigger tubes by the heads. The
4th runs down under the fuel distributor and I can't see a number for it.
