I trust you have checked coolant and engine oil for cross contamination?
How hot does it get? As posted earlier, my 79 240D has been creeping up
over the past year to where it runs 215F under load or acceleration-seems to
be consensus that I need a citric acid flush and get rid of the green
Can't a blown headgasket cause overheating?
Are you 100% sure it is overhot? Tried an IR therm on the head? Maybe its the
sensor?
