Re: [MBZ] 1st world problems
The nice thing about Holiday Inn now is they've got both Intercontinental and Kimpton under their umbrella. Last year I did a week in Miami (well Doral but...) at an Intercontinental. It was $20 more a night than a Holiday Inn but the customer wanted me to work a Sunday and it was the week before Christmas... Angie and I used Holiday Inn points to stay at the Intercontinental Chicago a couple years ago for our anniversary. In June we're going to the International Coleman Collectors Convention in Huntsville, Alabama. It was half price to fly into Nashville so we're going to spend a day/night there at a Kimpton for free on points. The car for the week is free too, a benefit of corporate travel. -Curt On Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 9:30:34 PM EDT, Dan Penoff via Mercedeswrote: When I was traveling for business on domestic trips I tried to stick with Holiday Inn. Hilton seems pretty desperate, they email me all the time with offers. Used to call a lot too trying to get me to buy a timeshare... Our corporate is Holiday Inn which is mostly what I use, I'm Spire Elite with them which is the top of their system. I'm silver with Hilton. I mostly only stay in Hiltons for airport hotels when returning home from LA. The Hampton Inn in El Segundo CA is really nice. Unfortunately on my next trip its about $50 more expensive than anything else so its a Holiday Inn Express... -Curt On Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 7:00:35 PM EDT, Kaleb C.
