Hydro boost is orders of magnitude better than vacuum boost. Applied brake
pressures with hydro boost is much higher than peddle feel.
I had one failure with the system when the brake master cylinder started
leaking, brake fluid corss contaminated the hydroboost unit the power
steering pump, and

I haven't seen a system fail either. But if the belt fails, or
the pump seizes both steering and brakes will not work as expected.
I like it. I think it's a
I have never had one fail, just leak. The other day the pump got low and was
whining and brakes still worked fine.

For either engines without vacuum, or for applications that might
require more than 15 psi for brake boost,

It’s a brake booster that runs off the power steering pump rather than vacuum.

I was looking to get some oil and a filter for the M112. Amazon have 2 Mann
fleece filters for $17 free delivery in a week if you select 2day (???),
Walmart have 0W40 for less than $23/5qt, delivery to the house tomorrow. Stuff
is getting cheepcheep and delivery is getting crazy good.

And what, pray tell, is a hydroboost for a Surburban?

I was going to order shocks for the Suburban using a 25% off code, but
even with that Amazon had them about $50 cheaper. The fitment detail
which lists that it fits my vehicle has a note that says lifetime
warranty. I did not know Amazon had this. Anybody know how this works?

I don't know about ship to home, but in store pickup order info is available
for two years in the store. If you want a 'lifetime warranty', you better have
'lifetime document retention'.
I turned in a 3 year battery for warranty with a printout of my online invoice
when the store no longer had
