It’s actually a hell of a nice car except for needing new front seat leathers. 
Not sure if it runs or not, will have to wait till the key shows up.

CoPart doesn't guarantee anything.
They give it their 'best effort', and you get what you get. 
Like when my dealer bought his wife a Buick, and the loader driver managed to 
shove a fork through a back tire and mangle a wheel. Oops, sucks to be you, 
glad we aren't responsible for the damage we did to your car after you paid for 
it. Then a month or two later he was ordering a wheel bearing for his wife's 
car. 
Hey, that isn't the same wheel the yard monkey forked, is it?
You know, it IS that same wheel. I wonder if they hit it hard enough to ruin 
the bearing too.

Usually they're zip tied to the column until shortly before the sale, then 
stuck in a filing cabinet in an envelope with the VIN on it. I've had to check 
out keys for cars I wanted to PPI, and they never had trouble finding the keys. 
Made me hand over my driver's license in exchange for the keys. 

Maybe somebody misfiled the envelope, and they were too busy to care about a 
guy from out of town who only bought one car from them?

Yes, I did save the photos. I sent the GM of the location an email a 
little while ago, so we will see what they say.  I do recall seeing some 
disclaimer somewhere on their website about keys not guaranteed even if 
it says it has keys, so I am sure it will go nowhere.  I can guarantee 
those keys are in there somewhere.
