Most of the radios I find in a benz are not originals. They are those disco neon excuses for sending noises to amps and booming boxes in a trunk. I must hit PnP at the wrong time. Every MB I see has the radio usually half removed/half destroyed! I don't know what the thought process is that involves destroying something Vs leaving it alone (if you don't know how to properly remove it) but the radios are in such bad shape even the knobs are un-useable. I gave each a bit of cleaning and then did a bench test. They both were fully functional and sounded like new.
