Re: [MBZ] Even a Bad Landing Makes It a Good Day (Dan Penoff)
Dan, I think that your title is wrong. It is a Good Landing by definition - any landing that you can walk away from is a good landing. At least that's what I've always heard during my 40+ years of flying. :-) AT CL500 From: Dan Penoff d...@penoff.com Subject: [MBZ] Even a Bad Landing Makes It a Good Day Date: October 31, 2014 7:14:31 PM PDT To: Mercedes List mercedes@okiebenz.com That'll buff out: http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/watch-this-2-2m-p-51-mustang-make-a-gear-up-belly-land-1650184273 Dan ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com All posts are the result of individual contributors and as such, those individuals are responsible for the content of the post. Flying Mustangs are now on the endangered species list . The price of admission to that club comes high. I'm sure the owner is happy to be alive, but wallet damaged at the injury to the airplane. I see some extensive rebuilding in the airplanes future... But.. if you think 20 yr. old Mercedes parts are hard to find and expensive... try picking up some NOS Mustang hardware... ouch.
