Great. Now I have something to look forward to on the 2008 ML550. I figured it
would be a real bear to do mounts on just because of the limited space with the
larger engine. Fortunately, the mounts that are on it are in good shape. I
definitely checked them when I inspected it.

They couldn’t be any worse than 164 mounts, surely.

They are Quinn.
No case.
I’m going to spend a boatload on organizing stuff.
The W163 mounts are no easier or quicker on a lift. If you’ve never done a set
you wouldn’t know why. You have to get at them from the side, through the wheel
wells, not the bottom.

Does that Quinn set come with any sort of case? Thinking about getting this as
a set to throw in the car/truck when doing long trips.
The "Quinn" tools should be (in theory) better than the "Pittsburgh" brand
though I have no real complaints about the Pittsburgh stuff either, it's never
let me down.
I think HF tools are as good as/comparable to Craftsman these days. Maybe not
as good as the OG Craftsman.
On Sat, Jun 11,
I have shit piles of tools in a disorganized state; but I think I was to just
stock in new tools in the new box from the start then sort out the rest of my
tools later.
The motor mounts could be done in 30 minutes in the Okie shop on the lift

I already have a Craftsman roll-around box (top and bottom) that is ready to
fill. I split up stuff I had doubles of at the Florida ranch and brought them
out here, but it’s pretty hit or miss of what’s here, especially with sockets,
ratchets and drivers. Nice to get some more ratcheting
Maybe I should buy that to stock my 72” tool chest I bought a while back.
