suzuki tends to make nice cars, but i wouldn't recommend one as suzuki has
left the USA and parts will become an issue. they are the #4 japanese
maker and strong in many markets worldwide. they sell about 2 million cars
a year in india, for example. they are (or, at least, were) about 1/3
owned by GM, although i don't think they've supplied any cars for the
general to the USA market since the geo metro as GM now seems to like to
source from wholly owned korean subsidiary daewoo

Must be a regional thing--I've seen lots of Swifts and Sidekicks here
in Oregon. Also their last product to be sold here, the Kizashi AWD
sedan, which got great reviews from the magazines as a sort of
cut-rate Subaru Impreza before it was withdrawn from the market.

Re: [MBZ] Most favorite cars

2013-06-03 Thread Scott Ritchey

I was getting old back in 2007 and I could see that my days of major DIY
work were limited; all my cars had 200-300K miles on them and they were all
20-30 years old. So in I bought a 2008 Outback. There was no political
aspect to that decision, just a desire for a reliable car that wouldn't get
stuck in snow or mud (as my 300TD had, but that's another story involving
groundhogs). In the 2008 Outback passenger space is cramped (newer models
are better), especially for big people in the back and the cargo area is
much smaller that the Sable wagon it replaced (but that's why I have a
pickup truck). MPG is mediocre (AWD, after all). But the car has been 100%
reliable with only scheduled maintenance. Subaru online service
documentation (for a fee) is pretty good although not as good as vintage MBX
paper books. North American content was over 50%, as I recall and final
assembly was in Indiana. Bottom line is, while less charismatic than my MBZ
diesels, the Subaru has delivered everything I expected. By all objective
criteria it's a great car so I'm very pleased with it.

lesbian cars? no comment,... other than the fact that a lot of people
in New Hampshire might be surprised to learn about their cars sexuality,...

but you read a couple of things about the report wrong; this isn't
a list of what's the most or least likely, but The 10 brands most
favored by Seattle-area residents in comparision [sic] with the rest of
the U.S., with the percent more likely to buy:
additionally, Mercedes isn't the bottom of the list, Infiniti is
(by a long shot).

# 6. Acura: 59 percent
# 7. Mazda: 55 percent
# 8. Plymouth: 46 percent
# 9. Kia: 38 percent
# 10. Mini: 37 percent

Does Datsun still make Infiniti, or did they let that die off?
